Our collection covers the field of medicine in book and journal formats.

Who can use this library?

  • EAC Administrators
  • EAC Doctor of Medicine Faculty members
  • Emilian students who are currently enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine program

Borrowing of Books

  1. Enter the open shelves system library collection to browse books or get the call number from the Online Public Access Catalog for faster locating of books.
  2. Fill out the book card found on the back flap of the book.
  3. Present the book, together with your school ID, to the nearest counter.
  4. The librarian will verify your borrowing status and stamp the due dates on the book card and on the due slip.
  5. Enjoy gaining information!

Returning of Books

  1. Return your borrowed materials on time. Failure to do so is subject to an overdue fine charge. See the chart below.
  2. Log in and present your borrowed materials.

Periodical Section

This section provides a big collection of volumes of general and periodical literature such as foreign and local/Filipiniana Newspapers, Journals, Magazines, Pamphlets, and Microfilms. You can also find here vertical filings of important news happenings, articles, and relevant information in Bibliography and Indexing. All materials are for room use only.

Audio-Visual Section

This section provides multimedia services and collections such as CDs and DVDs. Only faculty members and administrators are allowed to loan out materials. It allows clients to use individual listening/viewing stations.

GRADUATE SCHOOL LIBRARY

This library houses the graduate school’s book collection and the theses and dissertations of the EAC community.

Archives Section

This section collects the college records from sources such as pamphlets, pictures, yearbooks, and all articles that include the school of Emilio Aguinaldo College, its founder, and their family. Access to this section is by request only. You can visit the nearest counter for access.

Technical Section

The Technical Section is one of the main sections of the EAC Library. Though behind-the-scenes activities are undertaken here, it is the fundamental and backbone service of the Library. The section is primarily responsible for the acquisition and cataloging or the logical organization of library materials for the benefit of the information seeker.
